SFMOMA Announces Return To Regular Hours And Final Chance To See magritte On Free Tuesday

As part of the Free Tuesday program, Tuesday, September 5, the first Tuesday of the month, is a free day at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA). September 5 is also the final day to view the popular Magritte exhibition. The Museum will extend its summer hours (10 a.m.–6 p.m.) for one day to accommodate visitors who wish to see this exhibition one last time.

On Thursday, September 7, SFMOMA will return to regular operating hours, opening to the public at 11 a.m. daily (except Wednesdays when the Museum is closed).

SFMOMA galleries, MuseumStore and Caffè Museo are closed on the following public holidays:
Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.

Museum hours: Open daily (except Wednesdays): 11 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.; open late Thursdays, until 8:45 p.m. Summer hours (Memorial Day to Labor Day): Open at 10 a.m. Closed Wednesdays and the following public holidays: New Year's Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas. Admission prices: adults: $18; seniors: $13; students: $11; SFMOMA members and children 12 and under: free. Admission is free the first Tuesday of each month and half-price on Thursdays after 6 p.m.
