Family Day At SFMOMA Celebration Of Family And Art On Father's Day

What This Father's Day, SFMOMA hosts its semiannual Family Day, a special Museum-wide celebration featuring hands-on art projects, music, and performances for the whole family. Admission is free for children, with $2 admission for accompanying adults.

"Family Day is consistently our most popular family program," says Eduardo Pineda, assistant director of education at SFMOMA. "SFMOMA is a special place where adults and kids not only look at great works of art, they make them too."

Admission Special admission to Family Day is $2 for adults (includes regular Museum admission; adults must be accompanied by a child) and free for children and high school students with ID. For more information, contact the SFMOMA Education Department at 415.357.4097.

Museum hours: Open daily (except Wednesdays): 11 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.; open late Thursdays, until 8:45 p.m. Summer hours (Memorial Day to Labor Day): Open at 10 a.m. Closed Wednesdays and the following public holidays: New Year's Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas.
