- If you are using a connection which includes a firewall, you may not be able to view the streaming video from the SFMOMA site. This occurs because firewalls are often configured to block certain types of data streams, including RTSP, the standard for streaming QuickTime.
- For Windows and Macintosh OS9
- If you can't see the movies, try changing the QuickTime settings:
- Go to Settings: Control Panel: QuickTime
- Select "Streaming Transport" from the pull-down menu
- Choose "Use HTTP, Port ID: 80"
|
- For Macintosh OSX
-
- Open the QuickTime Player and choose Preferences: QuickTime Preferences
- Select the "Connection" tab and click "Transport Setup..."
- Set Transport Protocol to "HTTP," and set port ID to 80
- For Macintosh 7.0
-
- Open the QuickTime Player and choose QuickTime Preferences
- Select the "Advanced" Tab
- Choose "Custom" from the "Transport" pull-down menu
