SFMOMA Community Gallery The SFMOMA Community Gallery showcases works from young people in the Bay Area. In 2005, SFMOMA reinaugurated this community space with an exhibition featuring student works from partnership schools in the SFMOMA Matches program. SFMOMA Matches is a unique program that pairs teens from five Bay Area public schools with adult Museum members for gallery tours to foster Museum visitorship and a lifelong appreciation of the arts. The SFMOMA Community Gallery is located in the SFMOMA Garage, behind the Museum between Minna and Natoma streets. For more information on SFMOMA partnership schools, visit our SFMOMA Matches page. ![]() Group Mural Project, Oakland High School Class of 2005 Photo by John Jenkins TWO SCHOOLS: Artistic Visions from the Bay Area In this exhibition, students from Thurgood Marshall High School in San Francisco and Oakland High School's Visual Arts Academy in Oakland present recent works inspired by everyday objects, natural elements, cultural celebrations and urban settings found in the Bay Area.
