SFMOMA offers professional enrichment programs for teachers that help teachers expand their knowledge of art history or provide specific training on how to use the Museum's resources. Teachers who are SFMOMA members can borrow materials from the Teacher Resource Space in the Koret Visitor Education Center to supplement class curricula or to prepare students for visiting the Museum. The Education Department offers teachers several tour options for grades 3 through 12. The Education Department also maintains ongoing partnerships with several Bay Area public schools, reflecting the Museum's mission to serve as an educational resource for the local community.
