Principals Craig Dykers and Kjetil Trædal Thorsen founded their multidisciplinary architecture firm, Snøhetta, in the spirit of cross-collaboration with creative individuals they knew from around the world. Today the firm has to its credit a number of award-winning designs and commissions, including the highly anticipated upcoming expansion of SFMOMA, the National September 11 Memorial Museum Pavilion in New York, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Egypt, and the National Opera and Ballet in Oslo.

Snøhetta also boasts the unique honor of twice receiving the World Architecture Award for best cultural building, in addition to the Aga Khan Award for Architecture and the Mies van der Rohe Award. The fanciful Bloomberry House dollhouse showcases both the firm's imaginative approach to architecture at any scale and its attention to exquisite craftsmanship in even the smallest detail.
