Using Ronald Neame's The Poseidon Adventure as raw material, McGuire crafts a groundbreaking new film that commemorates the 20-year anniversary of her own ill-fated experience at sea. SECA awardee Ezawa, who conceived this program, introduces the premiere of McGuire's latest film, which is followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker. An SFMOMA Sessions party takes place in conjunction with this event.
