Overview

Marking the 70th anniversary of the bombing of Guernica, Spain, this program presents a selection of short films that explore the aftermath of the Spanish Civil War, including Land Without Bread by Luis Buñuel (1932–36, 32 min.), The Spanish Earth by Joris Ivens (1936, 52 min.), and Guernica by Alain Resnais and Robert Hessens (1950, 13 min.). Total program running time: 97 min.
