Fritz Haeg on Animal Estates 4.0: San Francisco
Date + TimeThursday, July 17, 2008
LocationKoret Visitor Education Center
Engaging utopian and experimental practices in architecture and art, Haeg reimagines everyday space and its uses. In his Sundown Salons, his own home became the stage for classes, workshops, and performances. His Sundown Schoolhouse placed drop-in dance clinics in a corporate atrium and expression-training sessions in art galleries. Via his Edible Estates, suburban front lawns become foodbearing gardens. In this program, Haeg discusses the development of these diverse endeavors and his latest project, Animal Estates. A signing of Haeg's book Edible Estates follows.
