SFMOMA Rooftop Garden Member Preview Day noon - 5:45 p.m. Be among the very first to set foot in our new Rooftop Garden at the members-only preview. This exciting extension of SFMOMA is not just a fresh space for viewing art, it also offers a new way to experience art: in the open air, high above the bustle of the streets. In addition to providing a place for visitors to enjoy sculptures by some of the most important artists of our time, the Rooftop Garden offers a place to rest, reflect, chat, enjoy a coffee, and see the San Francisco skyscape from a whole new perspective. SFMOMA's reinstalled contemporary painting and sculpture exhibition, Between Art and Life, also will be on view in the fifth-floor galleries, along with a commissioned work by local artist Rosana Castrillo Díaz on the new Rooftop Garden bridge. Free for SFMOMA members. As capacity in the garden is limited, preview admission will be extended on a first-come, first-served basis.
