SFMOMA curator Janet Bishop leads a conversation about the recent flourishing and current contraction of contemporary art fairs worldwide. The panel will also address the relationship between an art dealer's in-gallery program and participation in the fairs, as well as the potential benefits of attending and acquiring art at fairs in a slower market.
$30 SECA members; $40 nonmembers. Includes a wine and cheese reception. To purchase tickets, contact SECA at seca@sfmoma.org or 415.357.4031.
