Celebrate International Museum Day by bringing the family to SFMOMA. We're all for recycling, especially if your green approach turns trash into treasure. Artists are often expert recyclers. Today, you'll have an opportunity to collaborate with local artists in learning the fine art of reviving scraps and cast-offs, doohickeys and deelybops. A demonstration on renowned revamper Robert Rauschenberg provides further inspiration for turning the unexpected into something extraordinary.

Museum and program admission are free for families with children 12 and under.
The Free Family Day is offered in honor of International Museum Day.
