Jennifer Dunlop Fletcher, assistant curator of architecture and design, SFMOMA

Phyllis Wattis Theater
noon

Inspired by Marcel Duchamps Fountain (1917), a sculpture made by displacing an industrial design object from its typical mens room context, designer Wong worked in a similarly astute manner. His clever works, always get to the point quickly. He called himself a para-Conceptualist, which suggests that he goes beyond or around an idea before turning to the object.

Museum and program admission are free.
