SFMOMA, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, and the Asian Art Museum
Monday - Thursday, July 11 - 14, 2011
9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

In this four-day program, teachers will visit and explore the collections of the Asian Art Museum, the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, and SFMOMA through observation, inquiry, and reflection. Educators will develop techniques for integrating the study of visual images in both classroom and museum settings to empower student learning and engagement. Designed for high school teachers, the workshop includes gallery experiences, discussions with museum staff, and an education packet.
