Sharon Lockhart Films: Program 1
Phyllis Wattis Theater
7:00 p.m.
Pine Flat, Sharon Lockhart, 2005, 135 min., 16mm
Filmed over the course of three years in the Sierra Nevada foothills, Pine Flat explores the interactions of children with their local surroundings. A quiet intimacy between camera and subject develops as we watch the children play, read, hang out, and engage in other day-to-day activities.
Part of Sharon Lockhart Films.
$5 general; free for SFMOMA members or with museum admission (requires a free ticket, which can be picked up in the Haas Atrium).
