San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Asian Art Museum, and Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco

In this four-day program, teachers will visit and explore the collections of the Asian Art Museum, the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art through observation, inquiry, and reflection.

Educators will develop techniques for engaging with artworks and will explore how the museum setting empowers student critical thinking and creativity.

Designed for high school teachers, the institute includes gallery experiences, discussions with museum staff, and an education packet.
