Overview
SFMOMA is pleased to host the opening concert of the 13th Annual San Francisco Electronic Music Festival. Offerings include versions of Cage's Fontana Mix and Aria performed simultaneously by Daniel Steffey and Christina Stanley; Cartridge Music performed by sfSoundgroup; 4'33" for laptops interpreted by members of SFEMF's steering committee; and a performance of Variations #2 by a quartet of mariachi musicians, prepared and conducted by Guillermo Galindo with an introductory video by Jen Cohen. The festival continues with three evenings of concerts at Brava Theater Center in San Francisco's Mission District from September 7 through 9, 2012. More information: sfemf.org.
