Christian Marclay with Greil Marcus

Sound and video artist Christian Marclay became well known for his early experimentation with turntables and intentionally damaged records used to create sound collage. His 24-hour tour de force, The Clock, is a montage of film clips that show references to time synchronized to the minute with real time. Tonight Marclay appears at SFMOMA for a discussion with cultural critic Greil Marcus.

This artist talk will be simulcast in the Koret Visitor Education Center on the museum's second floor. Tickets for the simulcast are $7 general; $5 SFMOMA members, students and seniors. Simulcast tickets include museum admission after 6:00 p.m.
