Modern Art Desserts Part of Member Appreciation Month Events. Date + Time Saturday, April 20, 2013 2:00 p.m. Location Multiple Locations Overview Artist Talk, 2:00 p.m., Phyllis Wattis Theater Book Signing, 3:00 p.m., Haas Atrium Reception, 4:00 p.m., Blue Bottle Coffee Bar Get a taste of this delicious new book from pastry chef Caitlin Freeman, of Miette bakery and Blue Bottle Coffee, with recipes inspired by artworks by Ellsworth Kelly, Roy Lichtenstein, Henri Matisse, Cindy Sherman, and Andy Warhol. Freeman and a selection of artists from Modern Art Desserts will discuss the creative process and then sign copies of the book, available for purchase in the MuseumStore and at the Blue Bottle Coffee Bar. Following the signing, samples of Freeman's edible masterpieces will be available on the roof. Admission + Ticketing Free with museum admission.
