On the occasion of SECA Art Award winner Josh Faught's site-specific installation on view at the Neptune Society Columbarium, we host an afternoon of micro-talks and a pop-up cinema co-presented with Frameline. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the Columbarium's niches and passageways as speakers, including Faught, meditate on the building's history, AIDS, activism, and craft and art making. The program includes short films by David Weissman and a special screening of Ben Van Meter's short film The Saga of Macramé Park (1974), which recounts the creation and installation of a children's playground of macramé in Bolinas, California designed by Alexandra Jacopetti Hart. The afternoon concludes with a live performance by Luciano Chessa.
