2003 Bay Area Treasure Award Luncheon Honoring Robert Bechtle

The Modern Art Council (MAC) honors Robert Bechtle as this year's Bay Area Treasure on Wednesday, October 29, 2003. Bechtle is recognized internationally for distinct photo-realist paintings, often depicting cars and the landscape of residential neighborhoods; many of his works are in the SFMOMA collection. At the event, the artist will present a history of his career, followed by a seated lunch.
