Gordon's lecture on the history and artistry of the Moscow Jewish State Theater — one of the proudest achievements of modern Yiddish culture — includes archival film footage from Chagall's 1921 and 1922 stage productions there and audio clips from private archives in Russia, Israel, and the United States.
