Pipilotti Rist's site-specific video installations challenge spatial limits through an unusual and uncompromising use of materials. Moving images, sound, and physical objects surround the viewer within the sensory environments she creates. Starting with Rist's most recent work, Stir Heart, Rinse Heart, Phelan provides an overview of Rist's art.
