How Can We Find Meaning in a Work of Art? Date + Time Friday, October 29, 2004 noon - 1:00 p.m. Location Koret Visitor Education Center Overview Focusing on works in Between Art and Life, Charles explores the question of how viewers find meaning in contemporary art, which can sometimes be quite challenging. Charles provides art-historical perspective and encourages participants to respond with their own reactions to art by Bruce Conner, Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Sherrie Levine, and others.
