Play and Interplay: Eva Hesse's Materials and Techniques
Date + Time
Tuesday, May 07, 2002
noon
Location
Phyllis Wattis Theater
Overview
Eva Hesse is perhaps best known for her later sculptural work in rubber and resin. However, her two-dimensional works on paper were an equally important part of her body of work. Recent investigation and technical study of the artist's working methods and materials reveal a fluid language in her later works of diverse media.
