Set on a whaling ship in Nagasaki Bay, Japan, DRAWING RESTRAINT 9 follows the transformations of a couple brought on board and an enormous petroleum jelly sculpture created on the ship's deck. The film stars Barney and the singer Björk, who also composed the soundtrack. An SFMOMA Sessions party follows the evening screening on September 14, 2006.
