Films of Many Parts
Phyllis Wattis Theater
Organized around the SFMOMA-commissioned film Futurist Life Redux, this series showcases films built of many parts, known as portmanteau, anthology, or package films. Helmed by several directors, each section of a portmanteau film follows a central theme, narrative strand, or framing device. Join us on Thursdays in June for a rich selection of films that explore the concept of time, Leonard Cohen, Futurism, and the supernatural.
