Helena Producciones is a grassroots interdisciplinary collective based in Cali, Colombia, whose Festival de Performance, launched in 1997, has become an important forum for emerging and established artists from Colombia and abroad. The 8th festival explores artistic production in Cali during the 1960s and 1970s and the modes of collective practice that allowed for connections between theater, visual arts, and political and social action at that time. The performances in San Francisco include an artist workshop by Helena Producciones, as well as actions and performances by former festival artists Carolina Caycedo and Rolf Abderhalden.
