Vicki and Kent Logan have collected some of the most challenging and culturally reflective works of the 1990s — a rich period in contemporary art marked by an unprecedented boom in technology and a new, international perspective in the art world. Supernova highlights more than 80 works emblematic of the decade, addressing themes such as appropriation, self portraiture, the body, and childhood imagery. Featured artists include Katharina Fritsch, Robert Gober, Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Damien Hirst, and Takashi Murakami.
