Jennifer Morla: Selections from the Permanent Collection of Architecture and Design features approximately fifteen works by this important Bay Area graphic designer.

Morla (b. 1955) started as an in-house graphic designer for Levi's. Since, she has produced a kaleidoscope of different designs, ranging from highly abstract works such as her typographic announcements for installations at the Capp Street Project to thoughtful renovation of Wells Fargo's consumer products. Recently, she was selected over four other internationally famous designers, including Tibor Kalman, Margaret Youngblood, Stefan Sagmeister and Bill Oberlander among others, to create the cover of The New York Times Magazine "Familiar" issue of December 13, 1998.

This exhibition has been organized by SFMOMA Curator of Architecture, Design and Digital Projects Aaron Betsky.
