SFMOMA Artcast May 2007

Inspired by the exhibition Picasso and American Art, this episode explores Picasso's artistic legacy through commentary by the art historian Pepe Karmel, Bay Area artists Enrique Chagoya and Leonie Guyer, and the violinist-composer Aenea Keyes. Includes a discussion with SFMOMA art conservator Will Shank about the recent discovery of a hidden Picasso painting, and the reading of a Picasso-inspired piece by a student from 826 Valencia.

Each SFMOMA Artcast brings you illuminating audio and video interviews with artists, curators, and visitors as they respond to the work on view at SFMOMA.
