Parra Mural Time-Lapse

This time-lapse video documents the Dutch graphic artist Parra at work on his mural Weirded Out on SFMOMA's second-floor landing over the course of several days. The site-specific work was commissioned by the museum and features the artist's signature hand-drawn typography and hybrid human/animal figures. Installation instructions for the mural are now a permanent part of the museum’s Architecture and Design collection.

Weirded Out is on view on the second floor through July 29, 2012.
