Robert Longo is an American painter and sculptor who studied art at Buffalo State College in the early 1970s, when Sherman was also a student there. He is one of various artists, writers, and scholars who were invited by The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York, to comment on a favorite Cindy Sherman photograph. The full group of responses was edited into a video series called "My Favorite Cindy Sherman" that was produced by MoMA in conjunction with the New York presentation of Cindy Sherman.
