Oscar Muñoz on memory and disappearance

Artist Oscar Muñoz's work explores the relationship between images and memory. Often using materials that are ephemeral in nature — such as charcoal powder and water — he creates transient images that investigate contemporary visual culture, its social and political uses, and its limitations.
