Tuan Andrew Nguyen of The Propeller Group discusses the intersections of the collective's commercial and artistic work. The Propeller Group's multimedia projects adopt the aesthetics and language of popular culture while both creating and critiquing mainstream media. In the project Television Commercial for Communism (TVCC), they turn their critical lens on the tensions between capitalism and communism in Vietnam.
