Explore your passion for architecture and design by joining SFMOMA's A + D Forum. Our 85 members include architects, designers, writers, artists, patrons, and others who are committed to supporting the museum's Architecture and Design Department and advancing design culture in the Bay Area.

Forum members are invited to a wide range of programs and events, including "On the Boards" studio visits, exhibition previews and opening receptions, panel discussions, parties, and tours. These events offer unique opportunities to view, discuss, and interpret innovative design practices.

There are three levels of A + D Forum membership:

Design Enthusiast

  • $250 per year, plus $90 Individual level museum membership
  • Invitation to attend all A + D Forum events (member only)
  • Notifications about SFMOMA and Bay Area design events

Design Advocate

  • $500 per year, plus $250 Supporting level museum membership
  • Invitation to attend all A + D Forum events with a guest
  • Notifications about SFMOMA and Bay Area design events

Design Firm Patron

  • $750 per year, plus $1,000 Corporate Council Artist level museum membership
  • Invitation to attend A + D Forum events for any three employees
  • Notifications about SFMOMA and Bay Area design events
