The Volunteer Program is one of the great strengths of SFMOMA. Volunteers provide the Museum with vital support by assisting at the information desk, staffing special events, and working behind the scenes in numerous Museum departments.

If you've ever wondered what goes on behind the gallery walls, join our team of weekday volunteers! You may find yourself performing valuable services for such departments as Curatorial, Development, or Marketing
and Communications.

Although the majority of our volunteers work on an on-call basis, we have a limited number of volunteer positions for people who are able to commit to a regular, weekly schedule. Please click on the link above to view a current listing of available opportunities.
