This retrospective is the first major touring exhibition and catalogue in 25 years dedicated to the work of Garry Winogrand, whose work combines a sense of the hope and buoyancy of American life after World War II with a powerful anxiety. In this workshop, educators will investigate Winogrand's importance to the history of photography with a private gallery tour, curriculum materials, and a hands-on activity.
$40 general; $32 SFMOMA members. To register, send in your nonrefundable check with the Teacher Programs application. For more information, call the Teacher Programs Office at 415.357.4067.
