Ed Ruscha, a leader of the West Coast Pop art movement, discusses his influences, the relationship of his paintings to books and photography, and the use of language in his work. This interactive multimedia feature was developed in conjunction with the exhibition Pop! From San Francisco Collections, on view at SFMOMA from March 6 through September 19, 2004.
