New in the Artists Gallery

Sharon Shepherd

Hidden imagery among layers and layers of paint is what captures the imagination in Shepherd's latest works.

Heather Wilcoxon

Wilcoxon's childlike style injects dark humor into innocent imagery, simultaneously celebrating comedy and tragedy, cynicism and naivety.

Mirang Wonne

Unobscured by leaves, Mirang Wonne's naked, tangled trees and branches exude tremendous energy and passion.

Livia Stein

With her vibrant colors and bold lines, Stein's images linger in the mind for quite some time.

Ann Weber

Though she previously worked in ceramics, Weber brings basket-weaving techniques to the unassuming medium of cardboard to create her most recent sculptures, which could be described as abstract, modern-day totems.

Alan Ostreicher

Ostreicher's richly textured black-and-white photographs point out the many forms of geometry in the world around us.

Kathleen Larisch

Larisch's paintings of blossoms blend representational detail with abstraction, producing floral imagery that is both haunting and lovely.

Carol Charney

In her Interior Landscape series, Charney zooms in on the minute details of moisture on windows, creating crisp and realistic photographs that also have a strangely painterly quality.

Terry Hoff

Dr. Seuss meets Doctor Who in Hoff's paintings, which depict mashed and melting conglomerations of images reminiscent of children’s books and vintage sci-fi comics.

Dianne Jones

By drawing unusual parallels between the organic patterns found in nature and manmade patterns found in cities, Jones's photographs beg the question "Are we reflecting nature, or is nature responding to us?"
