About the Site

In 1995 SFMOMA was one of the first museums to launch an institutional website. It was then, as it is now, a collaborative process. The current website is managed by SFMOMA’s Web + Digital Platforms team, designed by SFMOMA’s Design Studio, built by the Interaction Consortium upon the open-source web framework GLAMkit, and is the result of a museum-wide effort.
