In 2010, SFMOMA conservators Barbara Schertel, Michelle Barger, and Amanda Hunter Johnson examined the frame of Erased de Kooning Drawing with curator Sarah Roberts prior to loaning the artwork for an exhibition. This report describes the condition of the frame and notes the adjustments that were made to reinforce the wood and enhance its security hardware.
