This large piece features wavy white lines on a brilliant blue surface, and resembles rippling waves in azure water. It has been mounted directly onto two adjoining walls, facing the wooden staircase in Schwab Hall. The painting’s white lines bend and undulate freely, rolling horizontally along the inside corner. The lines sometimes intersect, but largely run parallel to one another, as if following the same path in a river.
