Be among the first to see three new presentations on one floor. Experience Sublime Seas: John Akomfrah and J.M.W. Turner, which takes viewers on an immersive aural and visual odyssey, bringing together Turner’s sublime painting and Akomfrah’s captivating three-channel projection Vertigo Sea; Jim Campbell’s immersive light installation, Tilted Plane; and Nothing Stable under Heaven, an exhibition that features contemporary work from the museum’s collection and explores the ways that artists inform our understanding of urgent social, ecological, and civic issues.
