It took Richter three years to complete Dreams That Money Can Buy while teaching at the Institute of Film Techniques at the City College of New York. The result is a blockbuster of experimental film. Alexander Calder, Marcel Duchamp, Max Ernst, Fernand Léger, and Man Ray join Richter in presenting a series of dreamscapes investigating wishfulfillment.
