For his acclaimed 2004 series Sleeping by the Mississippi, Soth traveled the length of that iconic waterway, capturing in his photographs the beauty and utter strangeness of the sites he encountered along the way. Most recently, he took a road trip from Texas to California with fellow members of the Magnum Photo Agency for Postcards from America.
