With Arts & Skills Service, Bay Area artist Allison Smith organizes workshops and gatherings examining the intersection of craft and the war effort, reviving a World War II-era collaboration between SFMOMA and the Red Cross. In this latest installment, Smith partners with Shout! For Women Veterans, a three-day arts festival to honor women vets.
