Art Auction 2011

The Modern Art Council, SFMOMA’s premier fundraising auxiliary, presents Art Auction 2011. This fundraising event presents an exciting opportunity to bid on works by established artists such as Diane Arbus, John Baldessari, Olafur Eliasson, and Richard Serra, as well as by up-and-coming artists like R. H. Quaytman and Leslie Shows. Guests will enjoy an elegant cocktail reception and dinner in the museum’s spectacular Evelyn and Walter Haas Jr. Atrium. Featuring live and silent auctions, Art Auction 2011 will offer new works of interest to many collectors, including pieces by artists with works in the museum’s collection and artists featured in recent New Work exhibitions and the biennial SECA Art Award exhibition.

All proceeds benefit SFMOMA’s exhibitions and public programming.
