Discovering Connections 2017

In addition to Discovering Connections, we offer half-day programs throughout the year.
This five-day program invites teachers to explore works from the diverse collections of four major San Francisco museums through observation, inquiry, analysis, and reflection. Participants will develop techniques for engaging with artworks and discover how the museum setting fosters critical thinking and creativity. Designed for high school teachers, this program includes close-up gallery experiences, illuminating discussions with peers and museum staff, and useful resources to take back to the classroom. Three Continuing Education Units are available from San Francisco State University at an additional cost.
