While there is increasing excitement around new technologies, there is also underlying concern around how these technologies will oppress the most marginalized communities. Technological advancements without atonement can only contribute to existing digital oppression. This conversation will discuss the ways that technology has historically caused othering, as well as how it can be used to foster belonging.
Prior to the 7 p.m. panel, from 6–6:45 p.m., join an intimate workshop exploring the themes of the conversation.
